Abstract

A 34 years old woman was admitted on December 3. 1977, with complaints of deafness, deep seated otalgia and facial paralysis of affected side, and had had chronic ´suppurative ear disease for more than 20 years.
On December 23. 1977, a huge-cholesteatoma removed by craniectomy because of wide extension to the pituitary fossa, zygomatic bone and petrous apex.
